I hate it when you are slicing/chopping food (especially onion) with a big knife and the slices you have just cut stick to the side of the knife. This is fine if you are just cutting slices but if you are planning to continue chopping those slices it makes things very difficult as you have to physically push the slices off the side of the knife with your finger before you can chop them.
